Our client, a global construction OEM, is looking for its next Application Specialist focusing on road machinery. In this position you’ll serve as a knowledgeable expert in both the product and its applications, working side-by-side with both internal sales teams and the dealer network. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver effective product training sessions, conduct machine demonstrations, and how you’re able to demonstrate a deep passion and unwavering commitment to promoting and driving sales of road equipment.
Your Mission
- Excel as an expert in product knowledge and applications
- Champion product focus and alignment within the field sales team and the dealer network
- Identify and address dealer challenges related to road equipment stocking and promotion
- Take proactive measures to identify potential customers and actively collaborate with dealers to convert them
- Analyze historical market data, focusing on geographic and purchase history to identify target customers and devise sales plans with dealers for conversion
- Conduct engaging product training sessions and demonstrations for road equipment
- Work cross functionally with marketing and product management teams to generate compelling messaging and impactful promotional materials
- Support the annual product training initiative by providing materials, refining messaging, and assisting with delivery
A Few Qualifiers
- 5+ years relevant industry experience
- Proven high level of expertise with road machinery
- Demonstrated road machinery operator experience
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Travel up to 90%
