A global construction OEM is looking for a Business Development Manager to champion their strategy for parts sales in the North American market. In this seat, you’ll leverage a strong background in the rental industry with your ability to analyze & comprehend data to develop and navigate a business blueprint of success that includes short, mid & long term goals. You’ll also be put in charge of essential sales & marketing projects that grow brand awareness and increase parts revenue within the dealer network.

Your Mission: 

  • Deeply research and understand the North American parts market
  • Stay abreast of market patterns and changes, and actively forecast future opportunities
  • Analyze actual sales vs revenue targets and implement & execute plans to close to the gap
  • Develop & implement short, mid & long term strategic sales plans
  • Champion business models and sales & marketing projects that lead to an increase in brand awareness & parts revenue
  • Monitor dealer performance
  • Champion communication through multiple channels to establish superior sales strategies and customer support 
  • Leverage data, face-to-face time with customers and background expertise to make educated decisions
  • As an expert in the competition, assist marketing personnel with the development of documentation and marketing content
  • Seek to continuously improve products, processes and procedures
  • Regularly report on project progress to senior leadership
  • Attend industry trade shows and visit customers 
  • Travel up to 20%

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 6+ years dealer rental experience
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze large data sets
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Expert in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Precise attention to detail with a high sense of urgency
