Our client, a leading global manufacturer in the industrial machinery and renewable energy sectors, is actively seeking a Chief Executive Officer with a specialization in solar energy for their operations in Mexico. With your extensive background in renewable energy, you will spearhead a division dedicated to the development and delivery of utility-scale photovoltaic power stations and their components. While demonstrating your leadership prowess, you’ll assemble and steer a world-class team toward excellence, fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture. As a pivotal figure within the executive leadership team, you will offer strategic insights and guidance to peers and stakeholders, propelling the company towards substantial growth.

Your Mission:

  • Manage daily operations across finance, HR, and supply chain, enhancing efficiency and cost control
  • Devise strategic market entry and long-term development plans for solar power stations and components, outlining clear product positioning, target demographics, and distribution channels
  • Assemble and mentor a top-tier team, clarifying roles, fostering potential, and ensuring professional development
  • Manage initial financial operations, including engaging with potential investors, conducting negotiations, and finalizing agreements
  • Evaluate and select investment projects, focusing on maintaining financial stability and promoting long-term sustainability
  • Continuously monitor market trends and adjust strategies to align with evolving market dynamics
  • Lead the entire lifecycle of photovoltaic projects from inception through completion, including planning, feasibility studies, budgeting, and team building
  • Guarantee project delivery within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards while effectively mitigating risks
  • Oversee project progress and facilitate seamless collaboration across teams to promptly address challenges
  • Establish and nurture beneficial relationships with key stakeholders in the solar energy supply chain, including suppliers, contractors, and distributors
  • Engage regularly with clients to understand their requirements, provide tailored solutions, and boost satisfaction levels
  • Identify and cultivate new partnerships to bolster business growth and operational support
  • Promote a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and continuous learning within the organization
  • Conduct thorough market research within the U.S. photovoltaic sector, identifying trends, competition, and opportunities
  • Champion company values, creating an inspiring and cohesive work environment
  • Proactively identify business risks, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies
  • Ensure all company operations adhere to local and international laws, regulations, and industry best practices to prevent legal or regulatory issues

A Few Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in the solar energy sector, with a comprehensive understanding of operational and managerial practices
  • 10+ years of proven expertise in developing, investing in, and transferring distributed photovoltaic power stations
  • 5+ years of demonstrated senior management experience
  • Exceptional skills in customer relationship management and resource integration
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale project development and delivery
  • In-depth knowledge of industry technological trends
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
