Are you an innovative seller wanting to expand the reach of an OEM? Our client, a well-known attachment manufacturer, is looking for a dealer developer to focus on dealer network growth and setup across the United States and Canada. In this seat, you’ll leverage your strong financial and operational background to expand the company footprint while managing and maintaining dealer network standards.

Your Mission:

  • Develop and execute strategy for channel development
  • Conduct in-depth research including analysis of dealers and market performance while identifying expansion opportunities and where improvements can be made
  • Prospect and add new dealers to the network and manage the growth of existing dealership locations
  • Champion and lead new dealer set-up including training sessions
  • Support sales teams on potential opportunities of growth (capital, stocking, succession planning, etc.)
  • Coach and assist dealer sales personnel to higher performance
  • Work cross functionally with dealerships to develop and implement marketing plans that drive revenue
  • Support branch expansion through continued development and communication of the business model and planning tools while also recognizing when to cancel a dealership
  • Overnight travel

A Few Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
  • 4+ years experience in business development in a dealer sales environment
  • Knowledge of dealer operations and finances including capital funding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment often requiring you to continuously communicate with team members and clients
