Your Mission:
As a Dealer Developer for our client, you will prospect and add new dealers to the network, as well as, oversee the growth of existing dealership locations. To accomplish this you will:

  • Execute strategy for dealership development
  • Conduct market research including analysis of regional dealers, market performance, and identify where improvements can be made
  • Support sales teams on potential opportunities of growth (capital, stocking, succession planning, etc.)
  • Prospect and close on new dealership locations
  • Assist with new dealership set up to optimize sales & product offers
  • Develop a minimum inventory stocking requirement with dealers
  • Provide opportunities to communicate the overall vision through dealer meetings, region meetings and other sessions between sales teams and dealerships
  • Support branch expansion through continued development and communication of the business model and planning tools
  • Understand profitability metrics and dealer performance to best support dealers needs
  • Assist with dealer termination, coverage, and succession planning with dealers and sales teams

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • 6-8 years experience in sales/business development 
  • Knowledge of dealer operations
  • Experience in construction equipment preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment often requiring you to continuously communicate with team members and clients
  • Travel up to 50%
