Our client is searching for a dealer developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be working for a global construction machinery OEM, working closely with the sales force to expand their dealer network while continuously striving for excellence in their field by managing and maintaining the dealer network standards. This role is based in the Southeast Region.

Your Mission

As a Dealer Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the growth and implementation of dealer certification programs within our client’s dealer network. To accomplish this you will:

  • Develop short and long term plans to identify, target and sign on new dealership partners across North America
  • Manage the new dealer onboarding process
  • Review, evaluate, create and implement effective dealer training and standards programs
  • Manage training programs and monitor effectiveness
  • Conduct market research alongside the sales team including analysis of regional dealers, market performance, and identify where improvements can be made
  • Advance the online training platform and ensure that all requirements are being met
  • Interpret sales and marketing data including internal SAP data, EDA, AEM and OPEI to better improve the training content
  • Build weekly, monthly & quarterly KPI reports
  • Resolve all Dealer Development issues with the Regional Sales Managers
  • Predict and build comprehensive market studies for target markets

A Few Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
  • 6-8 years experience with dealer development, training, creation of certification programs, sales, product management and/or marketing
  • Experience in construction equipment or related equipment field is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work with all levels of management
  • Up to 75% travel required
