A well-known construction equipment manufacturer is looking for multiple District Managers to champion sales of their surface prep product line. This person will work directly with end users to develop new business relationships within the district while managing & nurturing aftersales needs of the current client base.

Your Mission:

  • Maintain and expand sales within your territory
  • Analyze market research to become an expert in the competition and develop and execute a sales strategy for maximum success
  • Use a consultative approach to aftersales to ensure customer support and training needs are met
  • Perform regular on-site visits with customers and prospects
  • Test, demo and set up equipment for new and existing customers
  • Relay product issues from customers to product management for continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate book of business to include contacts, notes and sales data
  • Provide timely market data and reports to management
  • Work with marketing to develop trade show & events plans

A Few Qualifiers:

  • At least 3 years of proven sales experience required
  • Related product experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business
  • Strong technical ability
  • Microsoft Office Expert (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Overnight travel up to 75%
