Our client, a leading global construction OEM, is seeking a talented and experienced Division Director to champion the road machinery product line. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will play a critical role in spearheading the success and expansion of road products and services. With your exceptional motivational leadership skills and strong business acumen, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team, drive strategic planning initiatives, have full P&L responsibility, and ensure the division’s overall profitability and customer satisfaction. Your Mission

  • Assume ownership of the product line and its overall business operations
  • Responsible for managing the profit and loss (P&L) of the assigned product
  • Take charge of pricing, both for retail and wholesale, ensuring competitiveness and profitability
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive strategies for road machinery division, addressing short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives
  • Plan and oversee production activities to meet demand and optimize efficiency
  • Create and implement an annual business plan that aligns with the overarching goals and objectives of the company
  • Provide monthly performance reports, analyzing key metrics and identifying areas for improvement
  • Lead the development of the marketing strategy to promote the product line effectively
  • Create a product roadmap and define significant product requirements based on market needs
  • Direct project timelines and ensure successful market introduction of new products
  • Supervise a dedicated team responsible for product management and field applications
  • Take the lead in resolving service and manufacturing issues, prioritizing customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to achieve collective goals

A Few Qualifiers

  • 15+ years relevant experience within the construction industry
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience with road machinery
  • Successful track record in sales, marketing, and product development
  • Strong leadership skills with the motivational ability to guide teams through process & culture change
  • Proven senior leadership level knowledge of P&L, business financials, metrics, marketing, and sales and service operations
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
