Our client, a leader in bulk handling and storage systems, is looking for a project engineering sales professional with tribal knowledge of the market who can develop a division of their business from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to leave your mark and shape the future of the company while being responsible for sales, estimating, and project management of feed mill projects.  

Your Mission

This person is responsible for building and growing the Feed Mill Division by accomplishing the following:

  • Carry out all Feed Mill Division business development efforts
  • Develop and execute portfolio management strategy by assessing and understanding the U.S Feed Mill landscape
  • Stay abreast of market patterns and changes; forecast future opportunities
  • Set 3 & 5 year strategy and roadmap for product lines in the market
  • Produce accurate and timely project estimates to potential customers
  • Plan and deliver products that meet performance specifications and cost criteria within budget and defined timeline
  • Work cross functionally with external engineering teams
  • Assess competitive products from a functionality, technological and usage perspective and assist in providing competitive strategies to engineering and product management teams
  • Strategically build and manage a team of highly skilled professionals

A Few Qualifiers

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years relevant project engineering and project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of feed mill equipment and layouts
  • Competitive drive to expand market share
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally execute
  • Management and leadership experience required
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
