Are you a self motivated engineering professional looking to resolve electrical issues while designing the next generation of heavy equipment? A well-known construction OEM is seeking a creative, electrical engineer to champion product improvements while supporting equipment development and launch.
Your Mission
- Diagnose and solve electrical problems with various equipment systems
- Design, analyze, test and document electrical systems and components to support various equipment systems
- Provide technical support to field service, manufacturing floor, and other departments to maximize customer satisfaction
- Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure VOC and government regulations are represented and followed in design proposals
- Champion the acquisition process of new materials based on product changes
- Continually look for opportunities at cost reduction via changes in materials, vendors and overall product design
- Help design testing methods, establish standards, and confirm manufacturing processes to successfully launch new products and design changes
A Few Qualifications:
- Proven hands on design experience and manufacturing familiarity with heavy equipment
- Strong and complete project management experience including meeting budget and timelines
- Ability to test and troubleshoot using multimeter and PC’s on engine controls and other systems
- Electrical Engineering or similar degree covering EE principles
- Read, interpret and generate electrical schematics and drawings
- Excellent communication, analytical and teamwork skills
