Our client, a well-known and highly respected construction equipment manufacturer, is looking for a troubleshooting specialist with a no-quit attitude to join their team near the Central Gulf Coast. Customers will love your hands-on, consultative approach to ensuring their downtime is minimized while you repair a wide range of electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical problems. This is not an entry level position but does serve as an exciting chance to join an OEM that can provide tremendous growth and advancement opportunities.
Your Mission
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical issues
- Utilize appropriate technology to diagnose and repair tier 4 and stage 5 diesel engines
- Recommend repairs
- Analyze data, failures, test components, systems and entire units
- Submit timely and accurate billing hours
- Complete parts and service documents accurately and on time
- Support customers on related equipment requests and interfacing as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety and health
- Communicate with customer and office
- Provide reports as needed
A Few Qualifiers
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Motivated team player
- Demonstrated experience repairing heavy equipment
- Proficient with electronic and hydraulic schematics and the appropriate testing technology
- Proven welding experience
- Must own proper set of hand tools
