Our client, a well-known and highly respected heavy equipment manufacturer, is looking for a troubleshooting specialist in the Rockies. In this role, you’ll travel to mining sites and other customer locations, delivering a hands-on, consultative approach to ensuring machine downtime is minimized. Success will be measured by your ability to repair a wide range of electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and mechanical problems. Your Mission
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance while examining parts for wear or damage before recommending appropriate repairs
- Read and interpret manuals & schematics to make proper repairs
- Analyze data, failures, test components, systems and entire units
- Break down, rebuild and test equipment while ensuring operating efficiency
- Submit timely and accurate paperwork including service documents, billing hours, and reports
- Support customers on related equipment requests and interfacing as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety and health
- Provide clear, accurate and timely communication to customers and internal teams
- Up to 90% travel
A Few Qualifiers
- 1+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience repairing heavy equipment
- Motivated team player
- Proficient with electronic and hydraulic schematics and the appropriate testing technology
- Proven welding experience
