A well-established, family owned dealer is looking for an analytical mind with a strong history in finance to be their next FP&A Analyst. This position will have you working cross-functionally with senior leadership to develop, build, and oversee the company’s powerful financial analysis function. Utilizing a rock solid foundation of financial principles and a proven track record in analysis & planning, you’ll drive the procedures surrounding budgeting and forecasting to ensure lender compliance and overall alignment with the strategic growth plan of the company.
Your Mission:
- Champion and lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting procedures
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that include trends, areas of improvement, and relevant financial data for review by senior management, investors, and the board of directors
- Drive and monitor cash flow forecasting, financial relationships, and data reporting to ensure contractual compliance with lenders and appropriate use of finances or alternatives
- Produce key metrics & monitor financial performance data while providing appropriate analysis to be used in business case development and other company activities
- Escalate financial issues to senior management
- Continually analyze the market while recommending strategies to improve financial performance
A Few Qualifications:
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Proven financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in the rental industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, MBA preferred
- Chartered Financial Analyst designation is highly desirable
- Demonstrated understanding & knowledge of financial concepts, principles and systems
- Superior communication skills, both written & verbal
- Highly organized, detail oriented and analytical
