Our client, a manufacturer of agricultural machinery is looking for a territory sales manager join their team. This company is part of a larger, very well known organization, and they sell through a dealer network and through direct accounts. This role will primarily focus on selling to their state government and municipality accounts throughout the Northwestern, US.


Your Mission

  • Establish and build a strategic and profitable client network in the territory
  • Build sales pipeline and achieve sales targets
  • Forecast, track, and report sales performance
  • Seek out and build relationships with key decision makers within municipalities
  • Manage paperwork and the bid process for state accounts
  • Understand dealer goals and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Maximize product knowledge to increase sales in market
  • Build peer and client relationships through integrity and trust
  • Analyze and forecast trends


A Few Qualifiers:

  • 5-8yrs of proven outside sales experience with an OEM
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Possess a pre-established network of contacts within the assigned territory
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Travel up to 80%
