Our client, a strong and well-established dealer in Texas, is looking for an IT Application Specialist to add to their team. This exciting opportunity, born from dealership growth & expansion, will work closely with the VP of Information Technology to install, manage, and maintain technological applications, such as Salesforce & Power BI, while ensuring they’re tailored to meet the needs of the company. This role is perfect for a flexible, self-starter capable of efficiently managing an array projects from application training to technical support & troubleshooting.
Your Mission
- Install, manage, and maintain technological applications & systems
- Perform application efficiency analysis, identify complications, and suggest improvements or upgrades
- Manage the implementation of new programs while formatting them to match specific company need
- Champion system training programs & materials for internal use
- Field requests for internal IT support while troubleshooting and solving issues surrounding software and hardware
- Maintain accurate log of requests and solutions
- Continually look for ways to improve new system or program implementation processes and procedures
- Serve as company liaison between staff and software vendors
A Few Qualifiers
Our client’s ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce or Power BI preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with SQL databases
- Superior communication and problem solving skills
