Our client, a global attachments manufacturer, is looking for a Parts Sales Manager to join their team. You’ll couple your expert knowledge of parts management with your ability to motivate and thoughtfully lead in order to enhance a growing technical parts sales team. You’ll be on the front lines of communication, handling everything from quotes and cost reports to product demos and sales presentations. Your proactive efforts will ensure order expectations are met while the company footprint expands and market share increases.

Your Mission: 

  • Deeply research and understand the parts market in the United States
  • Champion and mold technical parts sales team with a hyperfocus on customer service and an ultimate goal of increased responsiveness. This includes setting & monitoring KPIs
  • Stay abreast of market patterns and changes, and actively forecast future opportunities
  • Analyze actual sales vs revenue targets and implement & execute plans to close to the gap
  • Develop & implement short, mid & long term strategic sales & marketing plans while staying within budget and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Champion business models and sales & marketing projects that lead to an increase in brand awareness & parts revenue
  • Champion communication through multiple channels to establish superior sales strategies and customer support 
  • Establish and nurture trusting relationships with dealers & customers
  • Leverage data, face-to-face time with customers and background expertise to make educated decisions
  • Relay voice of customer as well as other needs to appropriate company leadership
  • Generate yearly strategic action plans to increase revenue & market share
  • Seek to continuously improve products, processes and procedures
  • Attend industry trade shows and visit customers 
  • Travel up to 20%

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 3+ years demonstrated parts sales experience
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze large data sets
  • Working technical knowledge of heavy machinery
  • Demonstrated marketing & territory management experience
  • Expert in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Driven and detail oriented with a high sense of urgency
