Our client, a global construction OEM, is seeking a Parts & Service Representative to bolster their aftersales team in Eastern Canada. In this seat, you’ll couple your fluency in English and French with your strong background in heavy machinery to be a positive liaison between the OEM, dealer network, & customers. Your day-to-day routine will have you, among other things, providing support and feedback to dealers, leading training sessions, promoting the use of OEM parts & programs, setting up new parts & service departments, and assisting with warranty claims.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide support and performance feedback to dealers to ensure they have adequate resources to properly service machinery and maintain customer satisfaction
- Create performance improvement plans and ensure dealer leadership buy-in
- Assist in the on-boarding process by helping new dealers set up their parts & service departments
- As needed, provide assistance during technical support in order to solve issues in a timely manner
- Forecast and maintain inventory based on parts & service demands
- Conduct training sessions to ensure dealers are properly trained to service, repair, and troubleshoot machinery.
- Train dealers on company procedures, conducting compliance audits, and reviewing warranty claims
- Promote the use of OEM promotional programs, service, parts, and provide parts-related assistance while achieving given objectives
- Work cross-functionally with the sales team to meet commitments and achieve growth objectives
A Few Qualifiers:
- Technical, Associate’s, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in the construction equipment industry
- 2+ years experience in product support
- Fluency in English and French required
- Must be able to translate English to French
- Technical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Analytical mindset with a firm understanding of finances
- Willing to travel frequently to dealer sites
- Travel up to 75%
