A global heavy equipment manufacturer is seeking an expert Parts Warehouse Manager to oversee the day to day operations and excellence of their aftermarket parts warehouse.

Your Mission

  • Set up processes for receiving, returns, obsolescence, replenishment and shipping of parts
  • Create system to sort and place parts on racks and shelves, or in bins
  • Maintain 94% or higher on-time parts delivery to dealers and customers
  • Work with 3PL for shipping and receiving
  • Order replacement stock and place special orders
  • Maintain accurate pricing records
  • Track warranties around defective inventory for credit
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Organize the training of team members and monitor performance and progress
  • Motivate the team, and encourage teamwork to reach productivity targets
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOS/JES), maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards
  • Understand efficiencies in running a superior parts warehouse

A Few Qualifiers:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Parts Warehouse Manager
  • 10+ years of experience in a consumer goods manufacturing field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SAP experience preferred 
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
