Our client, a global equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to shape how a specialized compaction portfolio is presented and supported throughout the North American market. You will connect technical product knowledge with commercial insight, helping dealers, customers, and internal teams understand where each product fits, what sets it apart, and how it can deliver value in real-world applications.
This role places you close to the market. You will spend time with equipment users and dealer partners, study competitive activity, and turn what you learn into focused marketing programs, launch support, pricing guidance, training, and sales resources. Your ability to understand machinery, recognize market opportunities, and coordinate across several business functions will help strengthen product adoption and overall performance.
Your Mission
- Shape the market approach for assigned equipment categories, including customer focus, product value, competitive differentiation, and sales support
- Develop a practical understanding of how each machine is configured, applied, purchased, and used
- Gather insight directly from dealers, customers, sales teams, industry research, and competitive activity
- Build go-to-market programs that prepare new products for a successful commercial introduction
- Create clear product stories, technical resources, presentations, digital materials, videos, and field-ready sales tools
- Evaluate competing products, price positions, customer expectations, and changing demand across the market
- Keep product configurations, commercial information, and supporting materials current and accurate
- Provide recommendations that help internal teams improve product direction, market fit, and customer value
- Deliver equipment demonstrations and training for dealer personnel, customers, and company teams
- Equip sales and service channels with the knowledge and resources needed to support products effectively
- Coordinate with commercial, technical, service, and marketing teams to keep product initiatives moving
- Serve as a knowledgeable company representative during industry events, dealer meetings, media activities, and customer visits
- Travel as needed to maintain a strong connection with the market and support field activity
A Few Qualifications
- Proven experience in product marketing, product management, market development, or equipment sales within the construction, heavy machinery, or industrial product sectors
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical machinery and communicate its practical and commercial value clearly
- Success supporting product introductions, competitive evaluations, pricing decisions, customer research, or market analysis
- Strong presentation, writing, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, collaborate across departments, and make sound recommendations based on market insight
