A global construction OEM is looking for a technically minded leader with a sense of urgency and a knack for problem solving to support the aftersales efforts of internal and external teams. From the comfort of your office chair, you’ll have the opportunity to resolve technical issues while expanding the company aftersales footprint to ensure dealers have what they need to succeed. This includes everything from parts stocking & warranty compliance to service training and certification.

Your Mission:

  • Take a consultative & proactive approach to solving dealer and customer issues
  • Champion service training programs and assess training needs across internal teams and the dealer network
  • Develop aftersales initiatives and technician certification programs 
  • Promote the use of OEM service parts and provide parts-related assistance while achieving service parts sales objectives
  • Oversee equipment warranty through training dealers on company procedures, conducting compliance audits, and reviewing warranty claims from dealers 
  • Create a quality report based on dealer complaints, warranty claims and field data
  • Coordinate with Engineering to find solutions and when applicable, eliminate recurring machinery complications
  • Ensure that all technical support cases are worked to completion, with resolutions logged for future use
  • Monitor company aftersales promotions and campaigns to ensure distributor & dealer participation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business preferred
  • 10+ years experience with a proven background in machinery aftersales
  • Strong business acumen
  • Technically inclined with paver experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented with great organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word) skills required
