Our client, a global construction OEM, is seeking a Product Support Representative to bolster their aftersales team. In this seat, you will be responsible for technical support and training, parts stocking recommendations, and warranty claims in order to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction.
We have available positions in these territories:
- Northeast
- Midwest
- Western US
What You’ll Do:
- Utilize technical aptitude to fully support dealers and ensure they have adequate resources to properly repair machinery and maintain customer satisfaction through various methods of communication (email, phone calls, and customer visits).
- Forecast and maintain inventory based on parts & service demands.
- Conduct regional and on-site training to ensure dealers are properly trained to repair and troubleshoot machinery.
- Oversee equipment warranty through training dealers on company procedures, conducting compliance audits, and reviewing warranty claims from dealers.
- Promote the use of OEM service parts and provide parts-related assistance.
- Work with the service team to continue developing initiatives and certification programs.
- Work with the sales team to meet commitments and achieve growth objectives.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery, if necessary.
A Few Qualifiers:
- Five (5+) years experience in the construction equipment industry
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, including schematics
- Willing to travel frequently to dealer sites
- Travel up to 50%
