We are looking for a customer centric, expert in port machinery to join a global construction OEM to support, diagnose and repair equipment as a Product Support Representative. You’ll leverage your strong background in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical service to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction.
Your Mission:
- Research and analyze technical and operational product problems
- Develop and validate field service solutions quickly
- Work closely with suppliers, parts, and warranty to communicate and configure solutions effectively
- Analyze data, field failures, test components, systems and entire units
- Administer training as needed with customers for troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs
- Prioritize and execute on issued reports
- Troubleshoot issues over the phone as needed
- Travel to customers on large scale troubleshooting issues
A Few Qualifiers:
- Proven experience with hands-on repair of cranes and heavy lifting equipment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-first mindset, with the ability to problem solve
- Ability to obtain TWIC card and eRail railroad badge
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Up to 85% travel
