Our client, a growing shortline manufacturer, is looking for an inspirational leader to champion and direct a sales team as Regional Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead, develop, and motivate multiple Territory Managers. Grouping your knowledge of heavy equipment and market expertise with your ability to be a change leader, you will be a critical piece in maintaining and expanding the regional customer base.

Your Mission:

  • Ride with sales team to strengthen existing account relationships while ensuring internal processes & procedures are followed
  • As a motivational leader, manage a sales team, construct pipelines, and create a development plan for each team member, including setting KPI’s
  • Forecast sales trends and recommend procedural or practice changes to maximize profitability and efficiency
  • Rectify customer complaints and other escalated issues
  • Support your account managers by assisting with training as needed
  • Understand market need, identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to expand market share and increase revenue
  • Work cross-functionally to set department goals and budgets while 
  • As needed, provide reports for upper level management
  • Maintain expense reports and monitor budget
  • Attend and actively participate in tradeshows

A Few Qualifiers:

  • 5+ years sales experience with relevant equipment
  • 2+ years proven coaching, leadership, & team management experience with the ability to motivate others
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for community engagement
  • Microsoft Office Expert (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
