Our client, a respected construction equipment manufacturer, is seeking Regional Sales Managers to lead sales efforts across key territories in the United States. In these roles, you’ll be responsible for strengthening dealer and customer relationships, expanding market reach, and advancing sales performance across assigned regions. The opportunity offers a strong mix of business development, channel support, and strategic territory management, with a focus on helping partners succeed while uncovering new business opportunities.

You will work closely with dealers, rental partners, national accounts, preferred accounts, and end users throughout your territory. Success will come from your ability to build trust, stay close to customer and market activity, and follow through on opportunities. You’ll also be an integral part in supporting product initiatives, sharing field insight, and serving as a key connection between the field and the company leadership.

Your Mission

  • Drive sales growth across your assigned region by supporting channel partners, deepening customer engagement, and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Build strong, productive relationships with dealers, rental organizations, strategic accounts, and end users to expand market coverage and improve long term performance
  • Assess territory potential and focus efforts on the markets, accounts, and partner relationships that offer the best opportunity for growth
  • Develop and execute territory plans that align day-to-day sales activity with broader regional objectives
  • Stay closely connected to customer needs, competitor activity, and changing market conditions to help guide territory strategy
  • Support commercial initiatives that increase visibility, generate demand, and strengthen partner participation across the region
  • Share meaningful field insight with leadership on customer activity, market trends, and factors influencing sales performance
  • Represent the company through customer visits, industry events, and partner-facing activities that strengthen relationships and reinforce market presence
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve issues, improve the customer experience, and support consistent follow-through on active opportunities
  • Maintain strong business discipline across the territory by keeping a close watch on account performance, commercial health, and operational follow-up

A Few Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or comparable professional experience
  • Experience in territory sales, regional sales, or channel development with relevant equipment
  • Demonstrated success developing business, growing account activity, and expanding presence within assigned markets
  • Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to balance relationship building and sales execution
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay organized in a fast-moving territory role
  • Familiarity with equipment applications, competitive market conditions, and the factors that influence buying decisions
  • Comfortable using common business tools and systems to manage communication, reporting, and territory activity
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the region and maintain a strong field presence
