Our client, a well-established dealer, is looking for a customer focused, analytical motivator to be their next Rental Manager. You’ll couple your natural leadership ability with your strong rental background to champion a rental sales force including team building, training and setting KPIs. This is an exciting opportunity for you to solve complex problems and set strategy across multiple dealerships. Your success will be measured by your ability to exceed customer expectations while also expanding the company’s already growing footprint.
Your Mission
- Analyze dealer performance and create annual strategic plan to increase rental opportunities within the assigned territory
- As a motivational leader, manage a team, construct pipelines, and create a development plan for each team member, including setting KPI’s
- Track and analyze existing key rental metrics & financial data to maintain accurate benchmarks of dealer success
- Perform operational analysis to ensure dealers are running at maximum efficiency
- Coach dealers on finances, market share growth, fleet management, rollouts and internal systems
- Rectify customer complaints and other escalated issues
- As needed, provide reports for upper level management
- Keep an energetic pulse on market trends while capitalizing on growth opportunities
- Provide presentations and and visit customer sites as needed
- Attend trade shows and events
A Few Qualifiers
- 6+ years experience in dealer rental
- Proven track record of sales success
- Strong business acumen with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to motivate personnel
- Ability to work independently and with a high sense of urgency
