A well-known machine manufacturer is looking for someone to champion sales and drive revenue as their Regional Sales Manager in the North Central United States. You’ll have the opportunity to excel in dealer development and move the company forward while still nurturing existing business relationships to meet sales, parts, service and rental goals.

Your Mission:

  • Develop and execute a prospecting & expansion plan for maximum success
  • Coordinate all aspects of a new dealer launch
  • Maintain & nurture existing business relationships within your region
  • Review quarterly business goals with each dealer in the network and ensure proper inventory levels
  • Ensure dealer sales teams are experts and advocates of the product line
  • Coach under performing dealers to bring about greater success
  • Provide monthly, and quarterly reports for upper level management on your region’s sales
  • Maintain expense reports and monitor budget
  • Conduct end user site visits as needed
  • Work cross functionally with product support to resolve customer issues
  • Relay product issues from customers and dealers to upper level management
  • Work with marketing to develop trade show plans, marketing events, etc for each of the dealerships

A Few Qualifiers:

  • 5+ years of proven outside sales experience
  • Experience selling construction machinery
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business
  • Microsoft Office Expert (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Travel up to 75%
