Our client, a strong & well-established dealer, is looking for a sales professional to champion and direct a sales team as a Sales Manager in Tennessee. In this position, you’ll direct, lead, and motivate multiple territory managers, set & adjust KPIs, and visit accounts. Grouping your knowledge of the equipment and market expertise with your ability to be a change leader, you will be critical in maintaining and expanding the regional customer base. 

Your Mission:

  • As a motivational leader, manage a sales team, construct pipelines, and set KPIs for your assigned region
  • Craft and implement a growth strategy that includes a forecast for sales, rental, and inventory
  • Foster the growth and skill development of the external sales team through mentoring and coaching
  • Diligently monitor financial targets, maintaining precise expense records
  • As an expert in the market and the competition, identify needs and growth opportunities while crafting a strategic prospecting plan
  • Advocate for the utilization of company services, including aftersales support, parts inventory management, and financing programs
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports to upper management
  • Employ a consultative approach to ensure an enhanced customer experience while recommending efficient solutions that minimize downtime and amplify performance
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and articulate the features, benefits, and accessories of available equipment and parts for sale or rent
  • Evaluate market data and trends to recommend pricing adjustments and enhancements to product offerings
  • Collaborate with product support to find timely solutions to technical issues
  • Coordinate closely with the marketing team to effectively communicate new product launches and advancements
  • Actively participate in industry associations and organizations

A Few Qualifiers:

  • 15+ years sales experience with relevant equipment
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate others
  • Strong knowledge of business development, budgeting, and strategic planning
  • Demonstrated experience with heavy equipment financing
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for community engagement
  • Microsoft Office Expert (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
