Our client, a leader in modular construction, is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in the Carolinas. You’ll couple your expert industry knowledge with your proven sales success to enhance a growing sales team. You’ll be on the front lines of communication, handling everything from quotes and cost reports to sales presentations and delivery. Your proactive efforts will ensure order expectations are met while the company footprint expands and market share increases.

Your Mission: 

  • Create and implement effective plans and strategies to cultivate and capitalize on new business opportunities while striving to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Execute proactive prospecting efforts, including conducting targeted calls and meetings with potential new customers identified through CRM leads, referrals, and carefully crafted sales strategies
  • Effectively communicate delivery needs to the relevant internal teams with promptness and accuracy
  • Take proactive measures to manage customer relationships while independently addressing and resolving account needs or issues
  • Ensure the maintenance of precise and up-to-date sales and market data, enabling accurate analysis and informed decision-making
  • Perform comprehensive analysis of territory, vendor competition, and customer need to guide the strategic planning
  • As an expert in the competition, deliver valuable competitive intelligence that includes product trends, rival programs, and market insights
  • Maintain exceptional product knowledge to effectively promote the product portfolio
  • Create reports that produce precise sales projections across product categories, ensuring efficient forecasting
  • Work cross-functionally with all levels of management and internal teams to support business development efforts and identify comprehensive customer solutions
  • Showcase products and services at open houses, customer events, and trade shows

A Few Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven related experience
  • Demonstrated background related to leasing, construction, or logistics
  • Successful track record in lead generation and business development
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in contract negotiation and closing
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word) skills required
