Our client, a well-known construction equipment manufacturer, is looking to add a strategic mind with a proven history of team leadership to guide their growing sales force. As Sales Manager focused on specialty equipment, you will develop go-to-market strategies, oversee district managers, set & adjust KPIs, manage key accounts and coordinate product trainings.

Your Mission:

  • Manage & guide district sales team, construct pipelines, and set & monitor KPIs
  • Ride with district managers to conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and, strengthen existing account relationships
  • Support district managers by ensuring all in-house training is administered and completed on time
  • Forecast sales trends per district and recommend procedural or practice changes to maximize profitability and efficiency
  • Analyze and understand key accounts, market, and parts sales opportunities
  • Maximize product knowledge to increase sales in market
  • Organize regional product training
  • Work cross-functionally to support sales, marketing & global product management teams
  • Analyze market need and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Provide monthly, and quarterly sales reports for upper level management review
  • Maintain expense reports and monitor budget
  • Travel up to 70%

A Few Qualifiers:

  • 4+ years relevant sales experience
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team
  • Strong knowledge of equipment financing
  • High level technical knowledge and experience with appropriate equipment
  • Demonstrated product training and strong customer service skills
  • Microsoft Office Expert (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
