Our client, a $500M equipment manufacturer in the Chicagoland area, is looking for someone to play a crucial role in driving the financial direction of the company. As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you’ll join a dynamic and goal-driven team that manages all financial operations for the North American region. In this seat, you’ll provide financial analysis & modeling as well as innovative problem-solving aimed at making informed, data-driven decisions. Your rock solid foundation of financial principles and proven track record in analysis & planning will be vital to ensuring that financial data is interpreted and communicated in a meaningful way that leads to the strategic growth of the company.
Your Mission:
- As an active team member, offer accounting assistance for various projects
- Develop comprehensive financial models that support new product introduction and other accounting projects
- Provide advanced analysis and evaluation of financial transactions aimed at diagnosing potential problems
- Provide guidance on accounting and financial matters in compliance with IFRS standards
- As needed, build analytical finance presentations for use in accounting projects
- Travel up to 20%
A Few Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Proven financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in the rental industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, CPA preferred
- Demonstrated understanding & knowledge of financial concepts, principles and systems
- Superior communication skills, both written & verbal
- Highly organized, detail oriented and analytical
