A global construction OEM is looking for a technically minded leader with a sense of urgency and a knack for problem solving to lead and support the aftersales efforts of internal and external teams. This person will collaborate with other members of the senior team to strategically implement state of the art programs that ensure their teams are fully equipped to exceed dealer expectations.

This person will accomplish the following:

  • Install a proactive approach to solving dealer and customer issues
  • Manage field service team including scheduling and setting benchmarks for success
  • Collaborate with Senior Training Manager to develop training programs and assess training needs across the teams and the dealer network
  • Offer service expertise to ensure dealers and customers’ expectations are being met
  • Create a quality report based on dealer complaints, warranty claims and field data
  • Coordinate with Engineering to find solutions and when applicable, eliminate recurring machinery complications
  • Ensure that all technical support cases are worked to completion, with resolutions logged for future use

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 7-10 years experience with a proven technical background in construction or relevant equipment necessary
  • Management experience required 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented with great organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word) skills required
