A global construction OEM specializing in concrete technologies is looking for a technically minded aftersales champion who takes great pride in product quality and customer service to be their next Technical Support Specialist. You’ll have the opportunity to take the lead diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while ensuring customers have everything they need for maximum uptime. In this seat you’ll also test new machinery to ensure products are of the highest quality before going to market.

  • Provide technical support and ensure customers have adequate resources to properly repair machinery
  • Assist customers with inventory based on parts & service demands
  • Conduct on-site training to ensure customers are properly trained to repair and troubleshoot machinery 
  • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair machinery in the field and over the phone
  • As an in-house equipment expert and service leader, work cross functionally to hear and resolve technical questions & requests from internal teams
  • Oversee equipment warranty through training customers on company procedures, conducting compliance audits, and reviewing warranty claims
  • Promote the use of OEM service parts and provide parts-related assistance while achieving service parts sales objectives
  • Perform quality control testing and work cross functionally with engineering to diagnose issues
  • Actively share VOC with engineering and product development teams to eliminate recurring issues
  • Work with the service team to continue developing initiatives and certification programs 
  • Work with the sales team to meet commitments and achieve growth objectives

A Few Qualifiers:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in heavy equipment industry
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Technical experience on relevant equipment preferred
  • Strong negotiating skills at all levels of an organization
  • Travel 25%
