Our client, a global construction OEM, is looking for an innovative communicator with high level technical expertise to be their Product Trainer. While overseeing the growth of team leads and assemblers, you’ll develop, present, and maintain an impactful training program focused entirely on heavy machinery. Coupling your impeccable communication ability and your expertise in product technology, production and manufacturing, you’ll work with both customers and company service personnel. Success will be measured by your ability to deepen their grasp of the distinct advantages over key competitors while ensuring proficient application & operation of the product line.
Your Mission:
- Develop, create, and manage training materials using innovative technology and interactive methods
- Innovate curriculum to reflect new topics and trends in factory training
- Design comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing product knowledge for both internal teams and customers
- Offer expert advice to customers on site conditions and the effective utilization & application of equipment
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop classroom-oriented curricula encompassing maintenance, operations, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and safety control systems
- Conduct training primarily at a designated company training facility and customer locations.
- Prepare, structure, and maintain training materials and assessment sheets
- Organize and schedule training sessions for crane operation, catering to both customers and company service team
- Develop personalized training strategies for the professional development of company service team
- Supervise the upholding of quality standards through the utilization of visual and mechanical inspection methods
Qualifications:
- Associates or Technical Degree preferred
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated technical training experience
- Extensive background in relevant equipment necessary
- Highly technical with an engineering mindset
- Cross-functional or vendor management experience required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail oriented with great organizational skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word) skills required
