In this role, you will represent a broad product portfolio and serve as a consultative seller and trusted field resource. Success comes from consistent territory coverage, strong follow-through, and the ability to turn demos, quotes, and opportunities into long-term customer relationships and profitable results.

Your Mission:

  • Consistently deliver on targets tied to gross profit, rental unit performance, and market share
  • Build and refine a territory customer management plan that prioritizes the best opportunities and allocates time for maximum return
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations to qualify needs, build confidence, and close sales or rental opportunities
  • Qualify opportunities, develop quotes, and close deals using pricing, inventory, quoting, and finance tools
  • Maintain steady customer coverage with daily, weekly, and monthly activity expectations across in-person, phone, text, and email outreach
  • Manage a customer list, prioritizing based on market potential and customer needs
  • Continue building technical confidence through training and self-directed learning across the product lineup
  • Represent the organization at local and national trade shows and industry events

Job Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in equipment sales or rentals
  • Technical aptitude and comfort learning equipment applications, features, and job-site needs
  • Ability to read and interpret business and technical information, including procedures and regulations
  • Strong written communication skills for reports, business correspondence, and internal documentation
  • Confident verbal communication and presentation ability with customers, teams, and stakeholders
  • Practical problem-solving skills and comfort operating in fast-moving, real-world field situations with limited standardization
  • Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Comfort working in a mixed environment that includes office time, significant time on the road, and periodic hands-on equipment exposure
