A growing shortline manufacturer is looking for a Territory Sales Manager in the Western United States to work with its niche product line. In this position, you’ll leverage your knowledge of heavy equipment with your ability to work with dealers and end-users alike, to develop new business relationships within the territory while maintaining and nurturing existing customers. While not a hard requirement, a blend of agricultural roots and salesmanship will help drive success in this position.
Your Mission:
- Explore & establish fresh dealer and customer relationships
- Maintain existing partnerships and relationships
- Coach dealers on brand programs
- Champion training and process improvement support for existing dealers
- Collect and share customer feedback data with management
- Track and share dealer KPI performance with management
- Perform monthly and annual territory analysis
- Stay up to date with industry trends and make recommendations & adjustments within your territory
- Attend trade shows, trainings, and events
A Few Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Sales or Business Development experience
- Proven experience with heavy machinery, preferably agricultural
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated dealership and direct sales skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge of CRM software
- Up to 75% travel
