A global construction equipment manufacturer is looking for a Warranty Manager to guide a team of Analysts and Processors to efficiently investigate and resolve warranty claims while fielding customer questions and ensuring an effective strategy is implemented.
Your Mission:
- Champion warranty team including coaching, mentoring, and setting KPIs
- Ensure team adheres to departmental procedures and accurately records data
- Review policies and procedures, identify complications or slow downs and suggest improvements or upgrades to increase efficiency
- Address & resolve warranty claims in a professional manner
- Balance the needs and satisfaction of customers and dealers with company profitability goals
- Maintain accurate warranty data including trends, cost and recovery while providing regular analysis & reporting to upper management
- Expand and bolster existing product knowledge to include features, performance and functionality
- Offer warranty technical support for products in and out of warranty period
- Develop & maintain positive relationships with appropriate stakeholders
- Manage claim submission and cost recovery projects
- Ensure warranty cost remediation with vendors follows company procedure
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years relevant experience in warranty management and/or processing
- Proven technical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Warranty data and IT systems content experience
- Expert MS Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using SAP preferred
