Kristie Stern, Managing Partner of Green Mountain Lion Corp, brings a wealth of expertise to talent search & acquisition, providing top notch client services. Her many years in sales & marketing have given her an insider’s understanding of best practices. Kristie employs her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emory University focused on non-verbal communication to ensure a solid candidate and client match. She has worked to conduct searches for multinational companies all the way to smaller niche players across a variety of industries including Agriculture, Construction, Industrial, and Manufacturing. Her dedication to providing the highest quality of customer service shows in the longstanding and positive relationships she has with her clients and candidates.

Sara Kopac
Director of Sourcing and Training
Sara joined Green Mountain Lion Corporation in early 2016, and immediately began building a network of professionals in the construction, agricultural, and outdoor power industries. She recruited for her own customer support team’s candidates in her prior role at a website design company. She had exposure to the construction industry through her father’s career. In 2002 and again in 2018, Sara helped her parents build their new home, getting a hand in everything from land clearing and foundation tarring to raising walls and installing insulation.
Sara lives north of Boston, MA with her husband and puppy, and they can be found making home cooked, healthy meals, hiking, or working on home renovation projects.

Kate Ziek
Director of Recruiting
Kate is Green Mountain Lion Corporation’s Director of Recruiting. Her competitive drive and passion for building winning teams started long before joining the GMLC team with her robust background in sports and leadership. Her Masters in Organizational Leadership, paired with her decisive nature, allow her to quickly identify and place top performing industry professionals.
Kate, a Canadian native, lives in Georgia, VT, with her husband, two kids and animals on their small family farm. She is an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, poutine expert, and outdoor enthusiast.

Amanda Thibault
Recruiter & Strategic Accounts Manager
Amanda is a Recruiter and Strategic Accounts Manager with Green Mountain Lion Corporation. Since joining GMLC in 2021, she has drawn on over a decade of experience as a broadcast meteorologist in North Dakota and Vermont, leveraging her background to bring a unique perspective to the recruitment field.
Focused on effective communication, Amanda brings a sharp eye for detail, a keen ear, and the ability to ask the right questions to ensure long-lasting relationships for a sustainable workforce.
Originally from the Tampa Bay area, Amanda now resides in northern Vermont, at the base of Smugglers’ Notch. She enjoys life in the Green Mountains with her husband and two young children, volunteering in the community and spending time outdoors hiking, running, gardening, and renovating their 200-year-old home.

Sydney is a Recruiter with a specialization in construction and agricultural machinery. With a background in Health Promotion, Sydney has always possessed a deep-seated passion for connecting with people and helping them on their journey to self-improvement. When she decided to transition away from the healthcare field, she embarked on a career in recruiting, allowing her to maintain her commitment to establishing meaningful connections and offering support while building sustainable teams.
As an alumna of Queens University of Charlotte and a native of North Carolina, Sydney now calls the Charlotte metro area her home, where she lives with her husband and their canine companions, Bear and Rex. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, leading an active lifestyle, and escaping to the mountains for weekend getaways.

Sean Parker
Marketing Manager
Sean is Green Mountain Lion Corporation’s Marketing Manager. Leveraging an extensive background in broadcasting & communications, Sean ensures our messaging aligns with our core values as a company. As a natural storyteller, he enjoys connecting others by sharing tales of success by industry leaders in construction & agriculture. Sean has also helped lead the charge in establishing our expansive video library, including our professional development series, “Can We Find a Time to Talk?”.
Prior to being appointed Marketing Manager, Sean was a recruiter with GMLC, specializing in heavy machinery, renewables, energy storage and HVAC-R. He has a passion for a clean environment and a green grid. Sean came to GMLC with over a decade of experience as a broadcast meteorologist, working for several television stations across the country, forecasting the weather and teaching kids about STEM careers.
Sean and his wife live north of Burlington, VT. They enjoy spending as much time outdoors as they possibly can, especially fishing and running. Always on the hunt for the next master angler lake trout, you can find them in their vintage aluminum boat or out on the ice.
