Our client, a strong and well-established dealer in New York State, is looking to add a motivated, customer-focused, sales professional with a hunter’s attitude to their team. As Territory Sales Manager focused on heavy equipment, you’ll join a growing sales force where you’ll leverage your strong background in equipment sales to maintain current client relations and develop new business channels.
Your Mission
- Develop strategic short & long-term growth plans within the territory for current and new accounts
- Champion company customer support efforts including scheduling demos, training, and new customer setup
- Utilize market knowledge and client data to strategically forecast customer demand while managing order fulfillment to ensure proper inventory
- Maintain accurate book of business to include contacts, notes, and sales data
- Maintain an accurate customer database that drives successful business planning
- Conduct proper follow-ups on sales activities (quotes, orders, deliveries, and returns)
- Attend trade shows and OEM training events
A Few Qualifiers
- 3+ years proven experience with relevant equipment
- 1+ year proven experience selling heavy equipment
- Technical mindset with a hunter mentality
- Strong communication & writing skills with the ability to be a consultative seller
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
