Our client, a leader in industrial equipment, is seeking a skilled Machine Specialist. In this role, you’ll use your technical expertise to drive customer satisfaction and support machine sales, working directly with customers, service technicians, and sales team members. You’ll play a key role both in the field and the office, ensuring smooth machine integration and support while also being a face of the company through product training, capturing customer feedback, and documenting machines in action. Your success will be measured by how well you deliver machine support, assist with service solutions, and contribute to business growth.
Your Mission:
- Serve as an expert in machine knowledge and application
- Ensure smooth, hassle-free machine deliveries
- Train end-users and service technicians in machine repair, upkeep, and operation
- Evaluate customer fleets and skillsets, offering recommendations to enhance performance at the right stages of the machine or customer lifecycle
- Act as a trusted advisor for machine owners, providing guidance and expertise
- Capture and share marketing content, such as customer testimonials and machines in use
- Document all interactions and activities thoroughly
- Develop and produce marketing content for trade shows and customer engagements
- Support machines remotely through manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Share insights across the team to drive continuous improvement
A Few Qualifiers:
- 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment
- Familiarity with job site safety
- A passion for mechanics and a strong desire to learn
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required
- Travel up to 50%, with flexibility as needed
