Our client, a leading manufacturer in the construction space, is hiring a strategic and operationally focused Human Resources Director to lead workforce initiatives at the heart of their production operations. This role calls for a dynamic HR leader with a track record of recruiting, onboarding, and retaining high-performing manufacturing teams. You’ll serve as a key advisor to the executive team, aligning people strategy with business goals while bringing a commercial mindset that supports sales, marketing, and long-term growth.
Your Mission:
- Drive recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies that support high-performance manufacturing operations
- Partner with the executive team to align HR with business strategy, growth plans, and commercial goals
- Champion a positive workplace culture through clear communication, compassion, and consistency
- Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, communication, and vendor coordination
- Serve as a strategic advisor on employee relations, organizational structure, and workforce planning
- Oversee company policies and procedures to ensure clarity, compliance, and consistency
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety standards, and internal regulations
- Build relationships with local government, community stakeholders, and industry groups
- Guide internal training and development programs that support career progression and team growth
A Few Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 10+ years of HR experience, with strong generalist knowledge and team leadership
- Proven success in recruiting and retaining manufacturing personnel
- Experience supporting plant operations in a machine manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to align HR strategy with sales, marketing, and business development goals
- High emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style
- SPHR or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
