Our client, a global equipment manufacturer, is seeking a technically adept and customer-focused leader to oversee service, warranty, and quality operations across North America. As Senior Aftersales Manager, you’ll drive service performance, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts while building strong relationships with dealers and service partners.
This is a strategic role for a hands-on leader who understands the nuances of heavy equipment support and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. You’ll be the key liaison between North American service teams and global headquarters, ensuring alignment and excellence across technical support and warranty processes.
Your Mission:
- Lead the transformation of the North American customer service function into a modern, customer-centric support organization
- Oversee technical assistance and warranty handling across all regional product lines, supporting dealers and service partners
- Develop and implement standardized service processes in line with global service strategies
- Escalate recurring product issues or quality concerns to product engineering teams, supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Guide the deployment of global software tools to streamline service delivery and reporting
- Provide leadership and support to Technical Assistance and Service Managers
- Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and service excellence
- Represent the North American region in global service discussions and ensure regional needs are met
- Travel up to 50% across North America and Europe
A Few Qualifications:
- 5+ years in aftersales, service, or technical support roles within related industry
- Deep technical understanding of hydraulic or heavy equipment systems
- Strong grasp of warranty systems and service-related processes
- Proven leadership experience managing distributed customer service or technical support teams
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and improve processes for greater efficiency and consistency
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
