Our client, a respected equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Territory Manager to drive growth and strengthen dealer relationships across the Midwest. In this role, you’ll work directly with channel partners to support sales initiatives, provide product expertise, and identify new opportunities to grow market share. Success in this role requires a strong commercial mindset, the ability to build trust with dealer principals and sales teams, and a disciplined approach to territory management.
Your Mission:
- Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on dealer success and regional sales growth
- Build strong relationships with dealers and distributors, serving as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador
- Conduct regular site visits to support product training, equipment walk-arounds, and field support
- Promote programs including aftersales support, marketing campaigns, and financing solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM records, submit weekly activity plans, and deliver monthly performance reports
- Monitor competitive activity, dealer inventory levels, and regional market trends
- Collaborate with product support and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support field feedback
- Coordinate with marketing on product launches, regional promotions, and trade show presence
- Represent the brand within industry associations and at key events across the Midwest
A Few Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience with relevant equipment
- Strong understanding of dealer networks and distribution channels
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Excel, and general business tools
- Ability to travel up to 80% throughout the assigned territory
