Our client, a respected leader in agricultural equipment, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive performance and lead a high-performing sales team across the Southeast US. In this role, you’ll draw on your leadership expertise and deep industry knowledge to coach, develop, and inspire your team. Your ability to lead with purpose and deliver results will fuel growth and enhance the customer experience. With a strategic mindset and a commitment to long-term relationships, you’ll expand market share, strengthen loyalty, and build lasting value throughout the region.

Your Mission

  • Ride along with sales team members to support account development and ensure sales processes are consistently followed
  • Set clear performance expectations, sales goals, and development plans for each team member
  • Regularly review team performance to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and stronger results
  • Lead customer satisfaction efforts by gathering feedback and driving ongoing improvements to the sales process
  • Encourage consistent use of internal systems and tools to track sales activity, proposals, and customer follow-up
  • Analyze CRM data and local market trends to identify growth opportunities and shape strategy
  • Oversee inventory management, demo equipment, and product distribution across the region
  • Support complex sales cycles, including trade-ins, financing, leasing, and aftermarket services
  • Lead and resolve escalated customer concerns with urgency and professionalism
  • Collaborate with parts, service, and precision teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Champion continuous improvement through digital tools, automation, and new system adoption
  • Coach the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and territory management
  • Participate in setting regional budgets, forecasting sales, and reporting performance to leadership
  • Represent the company at trade shows and customer events 

A Few Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing sales teams in agriculture or heavy equipment
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing sales professionals
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales metrics, and territory planning
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the region
