Our client, a global leader in construction equipment manufacturing, is looking for a Product Manager to guide the future of their drilling equipment portfolio. In this role, you’ll drive new product development, refine existing designs, and shape strategies that respond to customer needs and market demand. Working closely with engineering, production, sales, and marketing, you’ll ensure products deliver strong performance, reliability, and profitability. Your Mission:
- Drive new product development for drilling equipment, guiding the definition, initiation, and launch of innovative systems
- Lead product management activities, including portfolio strategy, positioning, launches, technical sales support, and dealer training
- Partner with development teams to create product documentation such as user stories, specifications, and use cases
- Support production introductions and sales efforts across the dealer and distributor network
- Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, competitive positioning, and emerging trends
- Oversee pricing, product configurations, and lifecycle management in collaboration with commercial and engineering teams
- Act as project manager for new products, ensuring progress aligns with goals and customer expectations
- Build relationships with customers and dealers, supporting pilot machines, design trials, and factory visits
- Coordinate marketing efforts with Marketing Communications, developing presentations, competitive comparisons, and promotional materials
- Represent the company at industry events, presenting technical insights and positioning products for success
A Few Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in product development, marketing, engineering, or related roles
- Strong background in the global mining industry; experience with drilling equipment highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and lead product strategy
- Technical aptitude with experience in market analysis, strategic planning, and equipment sales
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with confidence in technical subject matter
