Our client, a respected and established equipment dealer, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to champion growth in their agricultural equipment division around the Rocky Mountains. This role calls for a proven leader who can combine industry expertise with a people-first approach to coaching, developing, and motivating a high-performing sales team. By leading with purpose and aligning strategy to execution, you’ll drive revenue, elevate the customer experience, and expand market presence. Your ability to cultivate long-term relationships and build trust will create lasting value for both the business and its partners.
Your Mission:
- Ride along with sales team members to support account development and ensure sales processes are consistently followed
- Set clear performance expectations, sales goals, and development plans for each team member
- Regularly review team performance to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and stronger results
- Lead customer satisfaction efforts by gathering feedback and driving ongoing improvements to the sales process
- Encourage consistent use of internal systems and tools to track sales activity, proposals, and customer follow-up
- Analyze CRM data and local market trends to identify growth opportunities and shape strategy
- Oversee inventory management, demo equipment, and product distribution across the region
- Support complex sales cycles, including trade-ins, financing, leasing, and aftermarket services
- Lead and resolve escalated customer concerns with urgency and professionalism
- Collaborate with parts, service, and precision teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Champion continuous improvement through digital tools, automation, and new system adoption
- Coach the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and territory management
- Participate in setting regional budgets, forecasting sales, and reporting performance to leadership
- Represent the company at trade shows and customer events
A Few Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing sales teams in agriculture or heavy equipment
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing sales professionals
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales metrics, and territory planning
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the region
