Our client, a global equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Service Technician to provide repair, maintenance, and technical service for foundation equipment in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will apply expertise across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems to keep machines operating safely and reliably. With a focus on problem-solving, preventive care, and customer service, you’ll play a vital role in supporting equipment performance and strengthening the company’s reputation in North America.
Your Mission
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues on engines, gearboxes, and other key systems to keep equipment running smoothly
- Diagnose and service electrical and hydraulic systems to maintain safe and reliable machine performance
- Carry out diesel engine work, including fuel, exhaust, and emission system servicing
- Establish and perform preventative service routines that reduce downtime and extend equipment life cycles
- Record detailed notes of service work, including parts replaced, repairs completed, and maintenance schedules
- Champion safety by following established procedures and reinforcing a safe workplace culture
- Provide field service support as needed, traveling to customer sites for troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance
- Share expertise by mentoring junior technicians and contributing to team development
- Support day-to-day logistics, including equipment and parts deliveries or pickups
- Take on additional service-related assignments as required to keep operations running efficiently
A Few Qualifiers
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
- Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and related components
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
