Our client, a growing heavy equipment dealership, is seeking a Parts Specialist to strengthen customer relationships and drive parts sales within the specialty equipment segment. In this role, you’ll use your technical expertise and service-oriented mindset to deliver timely solutions, manage inventory, and provide exceptional customer support. You’ll collaborate with vendors, technicians, and internal teams to ensure customers receive the right parts, at the right time, with the highest level of care.
Your Mission:
- Build trusted partnerships with customers by providing attentive support and responsive communication
- Seek out new opportunities to grow the parts business within an assigned territory
- Visit customer sites to understand equipment needs and provide tailored solutions
- Create estimates, orders, and invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
- Partner with service and technical teams to align on product availability and delivery timelines
- Keep customers informed throughout the ordering and fulfillment process
- Research and source parts efficiently to minimize downtime for customers
- Oversee stock levels to ensure critical items are always available when needed
- Assist with logistics and deliveries when necessary to maintain high service standards
- Help streamline payment and billing processes to ensure positive customer experiences
- Represent the company professionally at trade shows, training programs, and team meetings
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
A Few Qualifiers:
- 3+ years of experience in parts sales or equipment support
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with heavy machinery
- Proven ability to manage customer accounts and resolve issues effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in both warehouse and field environments
