Our client, a dynamic equipment dealer in Colorado, is looking for a Parts Manager to join their team. You’ll leverage your expert knowledge of parts management to champion every aspect of the department, from team leadership and customer service to sales growth and inventory control. This is an opportunity to build a high-performing team and ensure the parts operation runs smoothly, profitably, and with a customer-first focus.

Your Mission:

  • Lead the parts department to achieve goals for sales, margins, turns, and fill rate while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Build, train, and develop a high-performing parts team centered on responsiveness and service excellence
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including ordering, receiving, fulfillment, and invoicing
  • Create and implement processes and procedures that align with performance benchmarks and support continuous improvement
  • Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for growth while staying within budgetary guidelines
  • Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits, reporting, and proactive stock management
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Rental teams to ensure parts availability that supports equipment uptime and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, delivery, and warranty terms to optimize profitability
  • Take ownership of the parts display area and warehouse organization to ensure an efficient, clean, and safe workspace
  • Promote a culture of integrity, teamwork, and accountability within the department

A Few Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in heavy equipment parts management, inventory, or service-related roles
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop a team
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to lift parts as needed
