Our client, a specialized lifting equipment provider, is looking to add motivated, customer-focused sales professionals with hunter’s attitudes to their team. As a Territory Rental Representative, you will grow rental revenue across an assigned region by developing new accounts, strengthening contractor relationships, and staying visible on active jobsites. This is a field-first role where your ability to understand lift requirements, recommend the right rental solution, and coordinate a smooth customer experience from quote through completion will directly drive growth.

Opportunities are available in the following regions:

  • Upper Midwest
  • Southeast

Your Mission:

  • Create and nurture strong relationships with internal teams, including aftersales and operations, to deliver responsive support and a superior customer experience
  • Build and expand a territory book of business by prospecting new accounts, reactivating dormant customers, and converting inbound interest into long-term partnerships
  • Stay visible in the field by visiting jobsites, identifying upcoming lifting needs, and positioning the right equipment package for each phase of work
  • Guide customers through rentals and purchases by qualifying requirements, recommending the best-fit solution, and aligning expectations around logistics and timing
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to support scheduling, delivery, jobsite setup or familiarization, and service needs when issues arise
  • Prepare quotes, agreements, and supporting documentation with accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and activity cadence, updating CRM notes, forecasting opportunities, and tracking territory performance
  • Spot add-on opportunities that improve jobsite efficiency, reduce labor strain, or strengthen safety compliance
  • Monitor market activity, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to protect margin and adjust selling strategy
  • Attend trainings, industry events, and customer visits that deepen product knowledge and strengthen relationships

A Few Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related field sales experience, ideally in equipment rental, lifting, construction equipment, or a similar jobsite-driven industry
  • Proven ability to generate new business and consistently grow an assigned territory
  • Comfortable engaging decision makers across the jobsite and office, including foremen, supers, project managers, and owners
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate needs into practical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with disciplined follow-up
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and energized by a fast-moving, customer-facing environment
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel routinely throughout the territory
