Our client, a global agricultural OEM, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the business and set the strategic direction of their operations in Canada. This role carries full enterprise accountability, requiring a leader who can balance commercial growth with disciplined execution across the organization. You will shape priorities, align the leadership team, and ensure the business is positioned for sustained performance in a competitive, customer driven market. Success will be measured by your ability to accelerate profitable growth, strengthen operational consistency across manufacturing and supply chain, elevate financial rigor, and build durable relationships with customers, suppliers, and key external stakeholders while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Your Mission:
- Set the business vision and priorities in partnership with the board and key stakeholders
- Build and deliver a plan that drives near term performance and long-range growth through profitability and innovation
- Identify expansion opportunities across markets, product offerings, and strategic partnerships
- Lead end-to-end operations across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, and product development
- Improve cost, throughput, and quality by driving disciplined continuous improvement across facilities
- Own overall financial results and long-term business health
- Partner closely with the finance leader on budgeting, cash flow management, and performance targets
- Make high-impact calls on investment decisions, capital deployment, and resourcing to maximize returns
- Serve as the primary external face of the organization for industry, customer, supplier, and public sector relationships
- Represent the business at industry events and high-visibility meetings
- Stay current on market shifts, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to spot risks and opportunities early
- Build a strong senior leadership team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth
- Support leadership development and engagement across the broader workforce
A Few Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field required
- Advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years in senior leadership roles, ideally within manufacturing or heavy equipment
- Demonstrated success leading within agricultural machinery or heavy equipment with measurable growth and operational improvement outcomes
- Strong people leadership with the ability to align teams to strategy and drive performance
- Proven financial and strategic judgment, including comfort with complex tradeoffs and prioritization
- Skilled communicator and negotiator across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Calm, data-driven decision maker who performs well under pressure
